Founded in 1956, GUOGUANG Electric co., Ltd. Chengdu. (Previously named as State-owned Guoguang Electron Tube General factory, State factory No. 776, Guoguang General Electric Co. Chengdu) is a comprehensive factory dedicated in manufacturing of microwave electron. In the eighties, the factory has undergone a transfer from the military production to the civilian production and in October of 2000, the factory is re-constructured into a share-holding corporation.

Under the leadership of the company, there are 10 divisions and 1 new industry company. The total asset of the company is nearly 0.4 billion RMB with over 1600 staff members employed.

The main business scope of the company is: Research and production for all kinds of microwave electron vacuum parts, special enameled copper wires, vacuum contactor and breaker, appliance of microwave energy, exhaust carts for Color TV kinescope, aircraft meal-cart, all kinds of non-standard machinery and electrical equipments, medical appliances, pressure head, electromagnetic brake, computer-controlled measuring management system for natural gas etc. The products have been sold as far as overseas market and achieved great contributions for the national defense and scientific research work.

The company has introduced much advanced equipments from U.S., France, Austria, Italy, Germany, etc. which have provided a solid guarantee for the production of all the quality products.
